Is speedupmyPC 2009 a good program to use on VISTA home premium SP1? I'm skeptical.

Do not use it. Speed up my pc 2009 dosent work. It takes furever to install framework

not exactly..i do feel it working. it tends to have a 20 second diffrence.and about the brink preformance thread. i have already tried every sugestion. im now tweaking the services:)

not excatly. i have a 32 bit vista and 3gb of ram. all my ports are full. i can upgrade anymore

Stay away from those kind of programs.
Nothing but junk.

I bought a program called finally fast.
Boy was I fooled.

You are better off sticking to regauler cleaning.
cc cleaner does a good job.

I used it on Vista 32 and believe it did improve the performance. It was part of Power Suite 2009 which I actually liked. Unfortunately, they won't do Vista 64. Uniblue the company who makes it,based in Malta, has gotten raves and it is supposed to be worth the money.

Imagine you have 16mb of ram. By utilizing a ram compressor program you get perhaps double, like 100%+, or just 65% - anything higher than default is better. In theory. The "Ram optimizers" you might have heard of are just silly in comparison - dont do nothing. Compression really kicks in :cool:

I thought you meant compressors. I think they died long ago. "Optimizers" still live on as does the hype versus reality question ;)
