Anyone know of any software that provides isolation to individually running programs similar to Sandboxie for Vista64?

I don't like to run virus shields. I'd rather run suspect programs in a cage. Anyone know something that works in 64 bit?

virtualbox might be what you are looking for, but im not sure if it supports 64bit yet. i got bluescreens installing windows 7 64bit on it.

I messed around with VirtualBox before. I didn't like the Browser Appliance or whatever it was since I had Sandboxie. I did manage to install a virtual Win98 but then I realized the entire supported file system size on Win98 was smaller than one of my downloads! :)
Things change too fast. :)

its shocking how advanced things have gotten over the last 10 years regarding computing, i remember having a win98 computer with a pentium 2 MMX, 32Mb of ram, it was blisteringly fast when i had it, but looking back, i feel a bit of a tit for thinking that lol. i now have 8Gb and a Q6600. its brilliant :D

Don't feel bad. My first PC was a Leading Edge Model D XT compatible. It ran an 8088, which was an 8 bit CPU that mimicked the 8086 16 bit chip. The default was 4.77 MHZ, but if you flipped the Turbo Switch(tm) in the back you got a rip roaring 7.16 MHZ :)

I'll say one thing for it though, I locked it up many times programming TSRs in assembler and just cycled the power. I didn't have a breakout switch. Worst that ever happened was I had to restore Dos sys files I think. You could pummel that hw all day long and it would still work.
