| Vista x64 | Hp psc1510 Hi! Has anyone had problems installing the software for this printer? I tried installing it from the cd and also downloading it from HP website. I keep getting an error message that it can not be installed as "Run as" which I think it means has to be an administrator (which I am). I know for a fact this printer is compatible with my pc because this is my second identical pc from my first one, which turned out to be a lemon and had it exchanged. I had no problem installing the software on that one. Can someone help me?? Maria |

| Vista 32 bit | Re: Hp psc1510 If I understand you, Vista drivers are available for the printer, but when you try to install by running as Admin, you get an error saying you can't? You might try going to a Setup.exe file on the CD and running that as Admin, or running it is some type of compatibility mode. I know it has been a long time since your post, hopefully you have already fixed the problem. |
