| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | cannot install iTunes?? New hp 64 bit computer, w./Vista Home Premium + service pack #1 I cannot install iTunes for 64 bit ( using Apples install 64 bit download, from their iTunes site ). Spent over an hour w./a hp tech., running through many hopeful 'fixes', but still no-go  (........I am the admin., and I am signed in as admin., yet..... the message I repeatedly get when trying to run the iTunes setup.exe is this: The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. The can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnal for assistance. Any help? HOPing so !!
