PSPro problem.

I have my images set to open in PSPro 8, however when I click on an image I get the following error.

\

Yet if I open PSPro and select open (images), I have no problem with opening images.

Why, if it works one way why not the other,

Vista Ult.32 bit.

Re: PSPro problem.

I can't fix your problem but perhaps I can explain it. The act of going file|open... in an application uses a completely different code path to having Explorer invoke the app because you doubleclicked on one of its registered file types.

Given the age of that app and its 16-bitness, you'd probably do well to look for an updated (all 32-bit) image manipulation package instead of troubleshooting too intently.

Re: PSPro problem.

Thanks HS204, could be a bit long in the tooth, tried re-selecting images to work with Adobe Photoshop, and that works so, it seems the PSP is past its "SELL BY" date.

P.S Took the plunge and ordered PSP X2 Ultimate.
