Constalntly having to hit "Run"

Hi, I am new to Vista. I have Vista Ultimate x64 and I have installed a few programs on my PC. One tool/program I have is called PC Probe II. Which is a monitoring tool for ASUS Mobo's. Everytime I run this program, I constantly have to hit RUN like it is reinstalling.

Why is this? I thought once a program was installed, all you have to do is double click on it and it runs automatically?

Can I change this?

This happens to more than one program..

Did I install it correctly? or Incorrectly?

Please help!!

Thanks in advance...........

Re: Constalntly having to hit "Run"

Can you describe what you mean about having to hit "RUN" in more detail? Are you referring to a button or control in the app, or perhaps something in the operating system?

Re: Constalntly having to hit "Run"

Sure, I click on the icon on my desktop for PC Probe II or Deskview software icons, it would start to run, then I get the Vista Admin permissions-sort of speak. Then the program would start up like all other software does, except instead of running normally, I have to click on either "RUN" or "CANCEL" in the small box that pop's up. Re: Constalntly having to hit "Run"

The app is probably just broken. I'd suggest either finding an updated version or something that does the same thing. There are loads of hardware "monitoring" apps out there.
