Error After Installing CS4

I just bought Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium. I get through the installation with no errors. Once everything is installed and I right click anywhere in Windows I get the following error: in the title box of the error it says "explorer.exe Fatal Application Exit" and the main part says "The specified module could not be found C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\AdobeVersionCueCS4\4.0.1\VersionCue.DLL"

I spent the entire day yesterday searching the internet, forums, help pages, ect and was not able to get anything to work. I installed and uninstall CS4 a few times. I tried doing the things from this Adobe help sheet: View Document

However, that help sheet says to go into the Program Data file, and then into the NTFS junction named Application Data. I don't find anything in the Program Data file called Application Data. But when I do a file search there is a file called Application Data and that is the one I modified.

Any ideas????

Re: Error After Installing CS4

Hmmm....you shouldn't be having any problems installing Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium under Vista since Adobe claims Vista is fully supported, especially the 32-bit version. Do you have your virus scanner running when installing the software? If so, turn it off.

Also since you get through the installation without problems, that "View Document" is of little use. However, the "Application Data" folder "should" be there as a shortcut you can't access.

At any rate, make sure you follow the procedures in step 4 of the "solution" precisely. I did and had no problems. Make sure you follow steps b&c under step 2 about "hidden" folders if the folders in question can't be found.

Again, these procedures shouldn't appy to your situation since the software installed. Persoanlly I would call Adobe an ask them what the problem is. Since this is a new purchase you have free tech support!
