I have been using skydrive and add lots of photo's. Some of the photo's I have added have been sent to me via e-mail etc. I've since deleted the e-mail but would like the option to save some of the photo's to usb memory stick but im not sure how to do this. If i right click on an image or folder it does'nt give me the option of moving or sending the image or folder to another location.

I have also saved a folder which I have title 21 November 2008 but there are no photo's in the folder and would like to delete or remove it, but again when I right click on this folder it does not give me the option to delete.

Can someone help me.

Hi Teggo,

When you're in the Skydrive you should be able to click on the file (in this case a photo) and it will bring you to a screen where the file is displayed. In the top menu, click the download button and it will download the file (photo). From there, you can do whatever you want with it.

Here is the info direct from the help section:

  1. Sign in to the Windows Live SkyDrive website with your Windows Live ID (The e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to Windows Live programs and services such as Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger; Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE, MSN, and Office Live; and other places where you see the Windows Live ID logo.) , and then click All folders.
  2. To download one of your own photos or files, click the folder that contains the photo or file.
    –or–
To download a photo or file added by another SkyDrive user, open the user's profile, click SkyDrive, and then click the folder that contains the photo or file. For more information, see Search for people's profiles on Windows Live.
  3. Click the photo or file.
  4. Click Download, and then click Save.
  5. Navigate to the location on your computer where you want to download the photo or file, and then click Save.

Let me know if this fixes your question.

I found the solution to this problem. You have to be in Detail View and not Thumbnail view.

When you click on "photos", you'll get your albums in thumbnail view automatically. Next to the search bar are 2 options - detail and thumbnail. Click detail. Click the folder you want to delete one time. Then, under the search bar, it will say delete. Click delete, folder's gone.

It's really not user friendly.
