| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Need help with my acer laptop Hi there. I have a problem with my laptop and I think i would need to reboot it, but somehow I fail even there. I have an Acer Extensa 5620 with Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit. Recently I installed Adobe Photoshop CS3 on it, and after that i keep geting bluescreens everytime i start the computer. I read about it and learned that for some reason PS cs3 doesn't really work well with vista at all, and the guy writing about it made a simple System restore and the bluescreens along with PS was gone. But for some reason i can't seem to do the same. Everytime i try to restore i just get a notice that the restoration failed, I've tried a few different dates and I always get the same result. The restorations were attepted from failsafe mode. So, I figured I'd try format C until I remembered that I didn't get a vista cd along with the computer. However I found this intresting file in my Programs folder called WinBootstrapper with the note Windows Installer-pack. Which i can't acess in failsafe-mode as it seem. So I looked around some more and found the Acer eRecovery Manager and read abit about it, but it seems I can't acess that one either in failsafe-mode. So I'm quite clueless right now and don't really know what to do. Is there anyone here that can give me some kind of advice or know a way to fix this? I'd really appreciate any help at all. Something that might be worth mentioning is that I can't uninstall Photoshop in failsafe-mode either, I keep geting some errormessage about it. Regards, Jimmy. |
