I dont know if this is an Office 2007 problem, but it started to happen after Office 2007 Professional SP1 was installed.

It may be the laptop or the software, i dont know. I have seen this on 2 of my friends laptops. The laptops are identical but there are several more people with this type of laptop which are not experiencing this problem.

The problem: When the user is printing out a document or an e-mail the "numbers of copies" is rapidly increasing without the user doing anything. The user can press the "down" button to stop it, but as soon as he releases it starts again.

Same with selecting printers, the dropdown box goes crazy once its clicked and makes the user only select the top printer, since its impossible to select anything else due to the rapid scrolling.

The same is happening if the user is saving a document, and if the user have several names in the "autocomplete" the namebox just goes crazy and its not possible to select anything.

Recently this problem showed up also in a regular windows window (lets say the controlpanel window). Its not possible to scroll down to see all the icons. once i scrolled it scrolls right back up to the top.

This little thing is very annoying as you may imagine when working with a lot of documents. Have anyone else experienced this problem? or have any suggestions on what this faul "bug?" can be or what i can do about it.

Im very grateful for any help on this matter. Thanks in advance.

Are you using a wireles mouse? I have had a similar problem but it turned out to be the batteries in the mouse were failing.
