Hi! I've been using Windows live mail for some time now and I like it, it works great!! I've ad it set-up to read all in one place all my different e-mail accounts, I've got 3 hotmails, one g-mail and another different one...

I just changed my Laptop, still got my old one as a back-up, and WLM was already installed on it and it's a newer version then what I ad, the latest version I think...

I would like to know how can I import all my contacts, all my different e-mail accounts set-up, my save e-mails, etc... without having to start all over again and enter everything manually, because I've got a lot of stuff in there...

Please a little help with that! Thanks.

I've checked and in my old laptop i've ad WLM Version 2008 (Build 12.0.1606) and I checked in my new laptop and it's the same??? I don't understand, visually they don't look the same??

Changing laptops, I've changed from Vista Ultimate 32 Bits to Home Premium 64 Bits, could that be why they look different? Still can I import my setting, and how do I do that?

Thanks!

hello there ...
i would same you would see some diffrance between 32 bit to 64 bit maybe thats why ...
as for your question to tranfer all your stuff to another hotmail...
i dont think it can be i know alot peple in same state as you and they have to make a fresh and stick at it ...to be honest you should just use 1 for everything cause its alot hard work like now keep swapping all the time ...but i certain you cant do it might be wrong but dont think i am ..hope this answers your question :)

Just so you know, the reason everything is still there in your new setup is because for Windows Live, most stuff is stored on the servers. Your contact list, emails, calendars are all server-side, so they will be there whereever you login from, and even from say, the web client.
