Need help with Vista and Outlook 2007 Hyperlink problems

My hyperlinks in my emails were working fine until yesterday when I decided to give Google Chrome a try. I didn't like it so I went through the correct process of deleting it.

After deleting it, when I try to click on a hyperlink to go to a website or even within other Office programs and my Vista links to go online, I get an error message that says "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your administrator."

Well, I am the administrator on this computer. I did a restore and it still did not fix it.

Someone please help me get it fixed and tell me what is wrong with it. It is driving me crazy!

Thanks,

Stephanie

Have you tried running an Office repair?

I was able to duplicate and repair the issue. (Using Vista 32bit)
It involves alot of reg editing.
I'll post again when I get it all together.

That would be great. I did do a registry scan and it stated that I had over 1100 errors in my registry.

Anything you can figure out is greatly appreciated.

This is what fixed it on my test system which is 32bit. Haven't tried it on a 64bit one.

I have the exact problem as above, and have been following the replies.

I find all of the items under the remove items and none of the items requiring changes. I have my current version of the registry saved and also on form 10/2008. What do you recommend?
