| Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1 | defrag.exe not there, but I'm looking at it! I don't understand what's up here. I've used defrag from the command line in Vista64 SP1 in the past. Typed defrag /? at an admin command prompt. No such file or command. I go to c:\windows\system32 in explorer. Defrag.exe is there. It shows read and execute permissions for everyone. System32 is the first thing in the path. Typing defrag.exe in command prompt sitting in C:\Windows\System32 still gets the error. What's the deal? Really strange-o!!! Also trying to do a directory listing doesn't pick it up. edit: nevermind. It wants a command prompt from the start menu for some stupid reason! |
