CCleaner

Hi,
I was wondering why Vista Forums, suggests not to install CCleaner?
It is in your Speed Up Vista Tutorial.
Is their a reason for this?
Thanks Rip

I'm not sure where you got that from Rip. I have always recommended CCleaner and think it's a must have program. It's even on the free program list.

Two questions for you -
Which particular build of CC Cleaner would you recommend?
[ I generally point people towards the Slim Version.]

Is it considered a good idea to recommend CC Cleaner to someone on the forum who is not a confident Vista / computer user?

TIA

Re: CCleaner

I use Advanced System Care. It's pretty good. Something like tune up utilities. I've used both and have to say that I personally prefer Advanced System Care free rather than Tune Up Utilities
