Solved found out zone alarm free dosnt like my vista

it wouldnt let me surf the web had to revert back to the windows firewall. even though it says 64 bit

i dont like zone alarm but it does work fine on vista 64 and 32 , you must have it set up wrong

Did your computer come preloaded with Norton or another anti virus program?

ive used za before with xp never had it do this

If you have / use a router firewall, I would suggest that you should uninstall the free ZA firewall that is presenting problems, & just use the Win firewall which you say is running well.
That's what I do on my 64-bit system.
