Windows Sidebar Corrupt?

My computer runs vista home premium x64.

Not long ago my computer, when ever it starts immediately begins chkdsk. It says a system file has corrupted. I did the SFC /scannow in command prompt. I narrowed down the corrupt file which was the windows sidebar settings.ini. The file appears to work just fine. I'll run gadgets and they dont appear to fail in any way. I'm at a loss and the CBS file hasn't pointed out any other files other than this one. I havn't used any kind cleaners or anything.

Microsoft has explained that when sfc /scannow runs and your log shows nothing but sidebar settings.ini that its false. My hp laptop does the same thing, I'm just not getting the chkdsk error at startup. Might want to dig deeper, maybe check your reliabilty and performance charts? Maybe the event viewer...

Hope this helps...
