Solved Outlook: Grim

This is driving me nuts - I CANNOT stop Outlook displaying emails in my Inbox by size. This behaviour is new - previously, they were shown by the sender, and even though the sort criterion is displayed as 'Arranged By: From', I cannot get rid of these maddeningly irritating and totally unwanted '2KB', '10KB', etc. If you would like to know what steps I have taken, I have:
Tried to reset the criteria about 8 times
Ran System Restore twice
Uninstalled Office in it's entirety and reinstalled.
I cannot shake this behaviour off and it's really getting on my nerves now. Any ideas guys?

I love the subject title.

What happens when you click on the "Received" column?

Hello lemur -thanks for taking the time to try and help me out before I step out in front of a truck. I had the Current View set to Messages, but I went to View | Current View | Messages With AutoPreview and although it's not how I had it before or how I want it, it's a view I can live with - just! By the way, I have ALSO deep-sixed OUTCMD.DAT, Outlook's version of Normal.dot, but it still assumed I was more interested in knowing how big the files were, as opposed to who actually sent them. Now I'm just going to sneak out and kill the first person I see...

I've fixed it! By a mixture of charm, cunning, and my immense aplomb, I have succeeded in restoring Outlook to my preferred view! But thanks again, lemur, for taking a look!
