Hi,

WMP 11 is behaving erratically i.e unpredictable, unstable - when trying to avail of the option "Paste Album Art Here" The option is available sometimes, and then disappears?

Also options in "Tag Editor" are greyed out? Example:

Capture.jpg

Clarification

OS: Vista 64-bit

File Description: Windows Media Player 11

Additional Information

File Version: 11.0.6002.18065

Any Help in solving this, if possible? would be greatly appreciated, kind regards nomadic.

Try the following: In WMP go the the "Library" button on top, then to "Albums", Right click on the album in question and "Paste Album Art". The album art must be on the clipboard - so you must have previously copied it.

Hello Nomadic,
Have you always had this problem or has it only just started?

Funny you should ask that - in short - no.

I believe the problem lies with (file format) i.e WAV or Wave. WAV is not taggable by default in WMP which is obviously why the options are greyed out.

Why WAV you might ask? Well I simply wanted a lossless format (for arching) that was also compatible with many of my devices on the go, unlike, lets say - WMA Lossless.

I could use a converter, but not my initial goal. Thanks for your concern, Nomadic.

Try the following: In WMP go the the "Library" button on top, then to "Albums", Right click on the album in question and "Paste Album Art". The album art must be on the clipboard - so you must have previously copied it.

This didn't work with the former reason given, but thanks for assistance.
