If I download Macrium Reflect and backup my OS (Vista), will I be able to restore the entire OS back to Vista, after trying Windows 7, but prefer Vista?

The Free Macrium will make the Linux Rescue CD or bootable disc. After you make it I advise you to boot from it, and pretend like you are going to do a restore. Then you will find out if it supports your HD with the Linux drivers. It's an unpleasant surprise if you just assume it will. Better to make sure before you count on it.
