I recently had to re-install the O.S. (Vista 32 bit, Home Premium) on my laptop (system crashed), and then Office 2007, and Outlook 2007. It has IE 8.0xxx on it. Several times in the last couple of days each of these applications has "frozen" doing normal things. For instance, moving from one email to the next in Outlook, or opening and/or closing a Word document. I get the little pulsing circle icon in that application. The machine is not frozen - I can go to other applications and they respond fine, and the one that did freeze will eventually do what it was supposed to do.
All of these applications worked fine before the crash. Any idea what is going on?
