Problem msn contact list

Hi everybody

Excuse my less then perfect English..

I have a (weird) problem with msn messenger. Most people know that it's possible to see wehter you have been removed from a contact's list in messenger. By going to options and then privacy, it's possible to see your blocked and accepted contacts. When right clicking a certain contact it either does or does not give the possibility to delete the contact. If the contact can be deleted, that contact has removed you from their list. If a contact can't be deleted, that contact still has you in their list.

Now, my problem concerns a contact, which I have regular chat sessions with. I KNOW that I am still in their list, yet messenger gives me the possibility of removing them (under options->privacy). Does anyone know what the reason might be and how I can fix this problem? There should be a way to update the acceptance list and make msn recognize that this contact has me in their list..

I'd appreciate help, this has been bugging me for a whule now.. Thanks in advance

this means that the other contact have you blocked on their list.. pretty sure..

No it doesn't. Normally it would mean that that person has removed you from their list. Being that I know for a fact that this contact has not removed me (I chat with this person often), there is something wrong here. It is impossible to find out wether you have been blocked by a contact. Thanks for your reply.

I guess it must be some sort of problem with the msn data storage.. I'd appreciate help.
