I recently received this as an optional update in Windows Updates.

Because I had just installed a new mouse (Manhattan) I thought maybe I should install this update. Ever since installing it I've had little glitches in performance. For instance, when I open something the little blue circle goes around forever before it opens. These items used to flash right open previously. I did go to Device Manager and find this item and I really think I'd like to get rid of it. Would it be best to just use the "roll back driver" option and will it be safe to do this?

As you can tell I'm pretty much in the dark here and would like some advice about how to handle this. This is the first time I have ever installed an optional update and I don't think I'll be doing it again.

I have Vista Home Premium SP2.
