Cannot Uninstall Battery Bar

I have downloaded a program called battery bar that shows how much energy is left. This has disabled the option to show the 'Power' meter in the taskbar. see pics below:



i want the windows power meter back, but there is no uninstalling option in the battery bar file documents, or in add or remove programs. i have tried revo uninstaller (which also has no option to uninstall from main tab), tried hunter mode, pointed the target at the bar, and it says there is no uninstall program. I can't delete battery bar unless i recycle the battery bar file and its contents, which still leaves the windows power meter 'greyed' out.
can someone please post a solution? thanks.

Hey dom,
Can you go to your C:\ drive, go to Program Files, and see if you can find anything for this program? Hopefully in here, you can find some sort of install/uninstall files to point to in hunter mode.

I have already tried this, but thanks for suggesting.
I only want the windows meter back because I can't change battery options: 'High Performance' 'Power Saver'.

There must be something wrong with a registry key. Download and install Ccleaner and do a registry scan and clean up everything you find. This wil hopefully turn the icon back on. The other thing i can think of is a system restore.

I still have Battery Bar installed but now the windows power meter is showing as well

Glad to here that your all set. Did you use CCleaner?
You can still use this and hopefully it will help you.
Also do a search around your whole C:\ drive and type in "battery".

Hopefully this will find your uninstall file. Also, if you go to tools and uninstall in CCleaner, hopefully it will pick it up and you can uninstall it. I always use this program. It is ultra useful!

no, i did not use ccleaner. restarted a couple of times and when battery bar starts at stratup, the power meter of windows just appeared. I am at a friends computer now so i will post back tmoz and tell you how it went.
