Paint Shop Pro

I have versions 7,8,9,X1 and X2 of Paint Shop Pro. Supposedly only X2 is compatible with Vista. So although I prefer 9 which was a Jasc program vs. X2 which is a Corel version, I uninstalled all but X2. Tools have quit working and the program crashes regularly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times, but the problems still exist. Does anyone else use Paint Shop Pro and have a solution?

If you haven't posted simultaneously on a Paint Shop Pro forum I would suggest it. Chances are if it's possible to run the XP versions in Vista somebody there has figured it out. I'm not a user of that software so I don't have any experience to draw on(pun intended.) Have you tried XP compatibility mode?
