Voice Greeting Upon Logon/Logoff

Hi, A friend of mine has a computer just like mine. HP, dual processors, 500 gig HD and when he logs on a voice greets him with good morning/evening and his name. when he logs off the same voice says goodby. Someone else set up his computer and he doesn't know how the guy did it. I would like to set mine up the same way.
How do I do it? I know it can be done. He uses MSN and Quest. I use MSN and Comcast. Is this a Quest thing?
Thanks
Jerry

Thanks Rich, This helped and does indeed work. It is not exactly what I was talking about. The way my friends works is it knows AM from PM and greets you accordingly along with your name. EX: Good morning Jerry / Good evening Jerry.
Thanks Again,
Jerry

Gee, actually I deleted my post about 5 minutes after I made it. I tested on my computer and it did not seem to be what you wanted. Well, anyway you have it. Better than nothing.

After I deleted, I did research and could not find anything like that. It might be third party software.

It may be the talking clock.

Are you going to tell your friends about this great forum, but only one guy that answers LOL

Thanks again for the rep on the other thread. You will not be able to do it this time, but I know you appreciate the help. It must be given to 15 others before repeat.
