IMVU won't install?

i have imvu installed but now when i go to click on it and open it, a thing pops up saying "imvu error" and "corrupt install found. fix now? press yes to reinstall. press no to proceed(imvu may not work properly." well i clicked yes to reinstall and then the imvu download page comes up n i try to download it and it asks if i want to run or save it and i click run and then it doesnt do anything after that. there should be a box that pops up to set up imvu or something but its not. does anyone know how to solve the problem?!
