Programs and Features problem

Hi, I have recently discovered a problem on a my computer where I have a completely new list of programs in my Programs and Features. By this I mean I have programs that I know are part of some of my other programs but seem to be stuff like 'System requirement lab' and 'HP customer feedback' which where never previously in my Programs and Features and I don't realy think the programs in there qualify to be in the list, they seem to be more of secondary programs, such as parts of programs rather then the actualy program. I can also not uninstall any of the programs but as I am installing new ones they seem to be placed into the new list and are available to uninstall. I do not know how this happened and at the moment im unable to remove any of the programs or uninstall them from the Programs and Features list, while also unable to uninstall any of my other programs that I had via to when this happened. Finally, all of the programs have limited icons and the ones that do not have the 'missing icon' icon. Please help if you can anyone, its will be much appreciated, thank you.

These are things that you will have installed at some time, probably via a web site.

'System requirement lab' is a feature of "Can You Run It", a site that will tell you if your PC system is up to running games.

The same with 'HP customer feedback', this would have appeared after a visit with HP.
If they bother you they are safe to remove, but will not do any harm either.

Sorry I don't mean to imply your not helping but those two programs where just an example of what was just in my new list, it doesn't really have anything to do with the problem itself, also I cannot remove them because if I right click on the program in 'Programs and Features' no options come up. I am also not to worried about the programs in there but the fact that all my old ones that I commonly used are no longer in the list.
