Recovery disk/kit

I just purchased a computer that was formatted, no OS installed, but comes with OS license key. (Vista Home Premium 32bit). I need to know if there is a recovery disk/kit out there for me. ??:(

I would try the manufacturer's web site. They may have images you can download for the recovery discs. Or you may be able to order them for a nominal fee.

I would tend to think that an OEM license key won't work with a retail disc but I'm not a system builder. Someone else may have more info.

Thanks miles, not sure if it would be money ahead to just purchase new OS. Win7, maybe. The HDD was just cleared, not formatted. Just hate to see OEM license go to waste.

Did you activate it though? From what I've heard, a lot of license key codes will let you put the stuff on. It's when you go to activate you get nailed. Anyway since the OP paid for and is entitled to a license he should probably just call MS customer service to find out the easiest way to activate.
