Microsoft Office 2010 Opinions

Any opinions on Microsoft Office 2010? I have the beta, and hope it's free forever. Can anyone confirm that?

I didn't beta test it because I was happy with my Office 2007 Enteprise, but I will be buying a disc later on this month.

Microsoft haven't mentioned the giveaway of office 2010 for free to the beta testers, but I think that there is a good chance that they will. You can hope

There have been rumours, they may have been confirmed but I don't know, that if you buy office 2007 before a certain date, Microsoft will issue a free upgrade to 2010.

Ok, I'll cross my fingers. I have Office 2010 Beta right now. It's much better than Open Office, which is what I was using. Love the ribbon features. Hope to keep it!

Oh, and if you do buy Office 07 you get a free 10 upgrade when it is released

That is what I have heard, but I can't confirm it. There are lots of ebay sellers that do though.

well for 2007 I have my colours as black and prefer it that way

office 2010 is great.. got the chance to meet the roadwarrior for a presentation of office 2010.. the beta will stop by end of july when the 2010 is released.. One note is a so powerfull tool and as i use windows mobile 6.1 it synro whereever i am.. got some issues to synro it before but now its running as a cake

Word 2007 and 2010 are very similar,., just that word 2010 had added some more feature for pictures editing stuff.. so you do not need paint anymore as word 2010 do more

the paste function in word 2010 is my favorite as you can chose whether to paste the wording only or the formatting as well

Excel 2010 is pretty much the same.. no big change.. just the layout had changed a bit making it more user friendly..

powerpoint 2010 give you much more features..you can links from webpages or youtube for videos etc.. which is really nice.. you can do remote presentations.. people can connect through the internet to see your presentation by just following a link..
the flaws it that they cannot hear the sound so you need to use a speaker phone or microsoft messenger which is really good for business use..
