Problem w/eFax Messenger running at start up

I use the free version of Efax for years and after an update it puts the icon in the lower right corner and is always running at start up. How do I remove it from there,
and only use it occassionally?:(

Download Autoruns Autoruns for Windows and install and run it. Click on the Everything tab. Find any entry related to Efax (there may be more than one so check the whole list) and remove the check next to it to keep it from running at startup. When done, click OK to save the changes and reboot. Hopefully it will no longer be a problem.

If so, post back and we'll have to look into the Efax settings to see if we can remove the icon from the notification area some other way - but I'm hoping the above will solve the problem.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!
