Hello

I have been having computer problems for around 2 to 3 weeks and yesterday my system went crazy. The screen started flashing black and then blue then a screen came up saying the boot or something like that it was really fast but it said that the computer was corrupted and then the screen went to black. So I powered off and rebooted in safe mode but the screen also flashed there to. So I tried to do a factory restore, these are the things I have done so far before the crash.

1. Ran a full AV...
2. Ran a full scan with malwarebytes
3. Did a system restore going back one month...
4. System crashed, so I put in the factory recovery disk and turned off the computer...
5. Waited about 5 minutes and turned it back on...
6. A white screen came on and asked what I wanted to do so I clicked advance and checked a factory restore and it started reading and doing what it was suppose to,,,but it only installed the first disk and then went to the setting up the computer. I tried 3 times with the same results. I can use the system when it lets me and I don't know what to do right as it won't go past the first disk.

ilikefree your info helps but when I put the CD in and turn off my computer and then restart and go through the process to do a factory restore it still will only read the # 1 disk.

It is wierd this is only the second time I have had to use them and the first was perfect, when booting with the disk already in the CD drive it should reformatt my whole hard drive and then set everyting back to factory spec's and it's not happening, my disk's are perfect zero scratch's just like when I got them.

Anymore ideas my friend, this computer is driving me crazy right now.

If you are having problems like that in safe mode it may actually be a hardware issue.
When you try to boot are there any beeps. If so describe.
Turn on the speakers when you try to boot. Do you hear the Windows sounds?

I did as you asked and no noise is heard.

In safe mode the screen will flash on the bottom of the screen but has not crashed like it did when I was logged into the forum. The screen also stops for a second and then goes into the programs.

I would now try the clean boot.
