Trying to uninstall a program

Hi,
I have a problem that is "haunting" me to no end! I cannot contine downloading a file until this program contained within this file is uninstalled so I can continue downloading. It tells me "CyberLink Power Director exists on my computer and needs to be uninstalled before the file can continue downloading". I have two uninstall programs and the item is not listed on either one of them. If I go to "Programs and Features" in my Control Panel I can find this program (Power Director) but there is nothing in the Publisher or size columns so I can uninstall. I have searched the registry for this program but found nothing. It has to be somewhere or it would not appear when I try to download the Cyber Link file. Hopefully some of you Techies can help me? Thank you. :(

Which two uninstall programs do you have?

When you go to C,Program files,Cyberlink, and expand the folder is there not an uninstaller there?

Sounds like it was a program that you had, then uninstalled.
Further, it seems that there are remnants of the program that were not removed completely.
I would try several things to remove.
First download and use Ccleaner to remove (untick all registry entries)
If that does not work Temporary File cleaner should do the trick.
With Ccleaner be sure to untick cookies and temporary system files or your cookies will be delted
With Temporary file cleaner, they Will be delted. Its a pain to begin to sign in again to all your sites, but it just take one sign in to restore the cookies.
I think this will work.

I have REVO & Advanced Uninstaller. I find no indication of CyberLink in C:\X86 Program Files

Did you type Cyberlink in Search menu?

OK this might sound weird, but try reinstalling it then use revo on it again

EDIT: Forgot to mention If during the uninstall it says to restart your computer don't. Let Revo finish it's thing BEFORE you do a restart or Revo will not be able to find the left over files. IMPORTANT.
