Can't Print Documents In Microsoft Works 9.0

I can't print documents in MS Works 9.0. I can print anything else, such as url addresses, etc. I have an Epson NX400 printer and I've downloaded the latest driver and utilities. I've downloaded an update for MS 9 from Microsoft website, but still can't print docs. I uninstalled and reinstalled MS Works. I just went to ebay and printed out the home page....no problem. I think the problem is with MS Works, but what is the problem???

See whether you can print to the XPS Document Writer. Then print to your printer from there.

Sorry, but I don't know what XPS Document Writer is. I'm running Vista, if that info will help.

That should work in Vista too. If you get the print control window (yours may look a bit different), do what the picture says.

Well, for a while, it wouldn't print out in black. Then I took out the black cartridge and put it back in (as if I was installing a new cartridge) and the printer now prints out any type of doc. I've tried. So I'm thinking now the problem was probably w/the printer, but still scratching my head. Stay tuned!
