Hi all. I have a problem with mediacenter detection my TV tuner card, I have installed the correct drivers, which is why I just don't get it. When I try to configure the tv tuner card in mediacenter, it just says that I don't have a TV tuner installed, but I do. Any thoughts?

It worked with XP and the software terratec supplied with the card.

In device manager the card is enabled and the correct drivers are installed.
I have not tried with to use the card in Vista with any other software then Media Center. I don't have any other software that is supported under x64.
But like I said, mediacenter dose not recognize the card as a tv tuner. It says that I don't even have a tv tuner installed.

I found, downloaded and installed mce tuner extender. But I am not able to configure the card via the program. It just shows the tuner and that is it.

ok thats good the tuners installed correctly so now to figure out why vmc cant use it run through the setup manually and see if it can find the tuner

Now I cant do anything here, all buttons are disabled.
What to do?

ok run vmc and run through the setup tv manually and see if it can get it make sure you select analogue not digital

How do I run through the setup manually? I have looked and looked and all I can find in Windows Media Center is the TV tuner configuration, which tells me that I don't have a Tv tuner.

when you start vmc use the up andown arrows and go to settings / tv / setup tv signal and run through the prompts

mine starts up with recorded tv highlighted then use the down arrow to find settings and click on it
