| | Sound card problems Hi there, I have the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI-Express sound card. Everytime i restart Vista keeps asking me for drivers. I have already installed the drivers and everything is working fine. I keep having to click "ask me later", but if i click "don't ask me again" the audio will stop working untill i uninstall it and i get the same problem all over again. Not sure what else i can do as i've tried everything. I've let Vista search automatically for the driver which i left on my desktop and i also tried doing it manually, but that still didn't work. I am using Windows Vista 64 Ultimate. Any help is very much appreciated, thanks!. |

| | Re: Sound card problems Not sure it'll help, but just for fun, try using the Creative Software AutoUpdate once and try to install something with it. Maybe that'll help trick the computer into believing you. The other option would be to look in BIOS and limit Plug-n-Play capability. |
