Confused???

here we go i got this mb gigabyte x38t-dq6


that has Realtek ALC889A codec sound card in it

but when i go to sound in device manager it shows

microsoft drivers is that correct and should i d/l the correct drivers

that Brink posted

i am not sure

Try to always use manufacturer drivers over MS drivers, as long as they are written for you version of Windows they should be fine. MS drivers are generic in nature and are not always your best choice.

to Dmex

not at all i was just looking at my device manager and notice the ms drivers not

Realtek ALC889A drivers not sure why that happened

looking for answers

p.s. having real issuses with sp1 not getting installed

as a side note to this
