| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Very Low Volume Our new 20" HP Monitor (w2007) has built-in speakers situated on the back of the case. So far I'm not able to get much in the way of volume, and I've already set the audio output control to a full 100 on the taskbar. Been thinking about installing a free-standing set of small HP speakers instead. Would that make any difference? Wal-Mart sells a set that support Plug 'n Play for around $20, something I may try since fantastic sound isn't what I'm after. I'd just like to be able to hear the occasional DVD at something above a loud whisper during playback. If anybody has had this problem and can suggest an alternate fix, I'd appreciate any info on this. Thanks! |

Make volume adjustments on the w2007 by using the control buttons located on the lower right corner of the bezel. You may need to adjust the volume on your computer to help regulate the proper volume levels on the w2007. |

I guess all I can plead in my own defense is I had a "Senior Moment" (I'll be 61 this Fall) and just didn't check there when I should have. Now I'm getting good sound, and I won't have to buy the extra speakers afterall. Thanks again! Bob |
