| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Very Low Volume Our new 20" HP Monitor (w2007) has built-in speakers situated on the back of the case. So far I'm not able to get much in the way of volume, and I've already set the audio output control to a full 100 on the taskbar. Been thinking about installing a free-standing set of small HP speakers instead. Would that make any difference? Wal-Mart sells a set that support Plug 'n Play for around $20, something I may try since fantastic sound isn't what I'm after. I'd just like to be able to hear the occasional DVD at something above a loud whisper during playback. If anybody has had this problem and can suggest an alternate fix, I'd appreciate any info on this. Thanks! |

Thank you, John, for some reason I didn't even think to check those buttons until your post. I guess all I can plead in my own defense is I had a "Senior Moment" (I'll be 61 this Fall) and just didn't check there when I should have. Now I'm getting good sound, and I won't have to buy the extra speakers afterall. Thanks again! Bob  |
