| 32bit | !!!please help. No sound!!! Idk what's going on but i cant hear anything. The speaker icon at the bottom right has a red x on it. When i move the cursor over it, it says, "no audio output device installed." please help me!! Thanks, dre... | Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: !!!please help. No sound!!! Hello Dre, Here are some usual suspects that you can check until we get more information: 1. Correct audio driver version is installed and shows up in Device Manager as running properly. 2. Speakers are plugged in all the way. 3. If you have a onboard audio chip, then make sure that it is enabled in the BIOS. (Azalia Codec) 4. Volume level is not muted. Shawn |
