Need Microphone Help


I plugged in my Microphone and installed the driver successfully. Here is what it looks like:

I have a Windows Vista, I go to: Control Panel > Sound > Recording

Here is what it looks like:



Here is what it looks like when I click on my mic:





Now if I talk in my mic it doesnt record any sound. The bars stay the same in the second picture. They don't go up, just stay the same. What is the problem?
