| Newbie Rep Power: 2  |  Re: Sound Output control panel and device manager are reporting the same device name so no problem there. I have SP1 installed and i tried both latest drivers from Realtek and Asus drivers but still no luck. However, with the Asus drivers i get an option of Stereo or Quadraphonic, still no 5.1. The laptop is an Asus m50sv and the sound chip is an ALC888S which is capable of outputing 7.1 channels |
