Windows Movie Maker

Have just reloaded Windows Home Premium, but although Windows Movie Maker files were saved and reinstalled, when I open these only title cards are still there, all pictures added are shown with a red cross as is added music. Where did I go wrong, and can the situation be retreived?

Re: WIndows Movie Maker

Hi, Maurice Grant, and welcome to the forums.

Were your pictures and music saved on a different drive? If so, is that drive letter and the path(s) to pictures and music the exact same as before?

Re: Windows Movie Maker

....good point...but I must answere NO! Initially the file was in C:\users\USer\ (my name....which I had spelt incorrectly!)
When I copied the file it was exactly the same path but I had rectified the fault in the spelling. Could this be the problem?
I have a copy of the home movie on a DVD...ccan this be copied and how? Manythanks for bearing with me...
