Need help finding correct driver

Hi, just switced from Windows XP to Vista 64-bit. All the drivers loaded correctly, except my audio.

I've got "audio device on high definition audio bus" with a yellow warning icon next to it in my Device Manager, but I was using SigmaTel Audio High Definition audio CODEC.

My pc is a Sony VAIO VGC-RC110G, my motherboard is a Intel 945P Express.

I've tried to download the codecs/drivers that this forum provided but they were unable to install. It opened a window asking for the CD. Another error message I received gave me something to the effect of "incorrect program or device". :(

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Update: I seem to have found a driver for it, but now it says the device cannot start. (Code: 10) it has a yellow triangle with a ! on it.

The error message I receive says This is not intended for your computer model.

My mouse is the mouse that came with my pc, a black sony mouse (not wireless) with the red light underneath.

Theres a pic of my Device manager.

Oh today I reformated my hard drive because it had a virus on it. It originally came with windows xp media edition, but sony never gave me any windows cd/recovery cd for it, so I couldnt do a fresh install. So i used my boyfriends Recovery cd that had vista on it and did a fresh install with that. So... I do not think I have accumulated any viruses since the fresh install, which was about 5 hours ago.

have you tried to update the driver through the device manager?

I've tried to find the correct chipset drivers for my main board, but with no luck. I keep getting installation errors. "Error unknown", "You are not using Windows Vista", "Your computer is not the right model", to simply... "Error!"

I'd like to inform the vista community that i've wiped my drive. I currently dont' have an OS on that P.O.S. Sony Vaio. My recovery info. is on a floppy disk. My PC doesnt come with a floppy drive, so i was forced to go buy a $40 floppy external drive at best buy today. Brung it home, didnt wanna boot from it. I couldnt access it at all. Even tho its enabled in BIOS. I give up. Microsoft can kiss my ass.
