Right click a device and select the option to Configure and then Test each device, when you're finished, ok the dialogue box . Click Show Disconnected Devices to see what's listed there. To Check Volume Settings: Click Start>Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Adjust System Volume Drag slider up or down for more or less volume. Click mute button underneath slider to see if it's muted. Hope this helps SIW2 |

| VISTA HOME PREMIUM X64/ 7 x64 / 7x86 | Re: i have no sound Hi, I assume you use a minijack lead from the light green output socket on the back of your pc to the back of your monitor. Try using the same lead and socket into your hi-fi to check they work. SIW2 |

| VISTA HOME PREMIUM X64/ 7 x64 / 7x86 | Re: i have no sound Exactly, it would obviously mean the sound signal was coming out of the pc fine and the output socket and the lead are fine . The problem would be further down the line e.g. connector on the monitor , or inside the monitor itself. SIW2 |
