Sound Stuttering

It seems like this problem has been famous since 2007...

So I just bought a new laptop, HP Pavillion nv9925nr. Specs are AMD Turion64 x2. ram is at 4gigs ddr2 667mhz. Nvidia Geforice 7150m and a Conexant High Definition Audio card (all this is onboard... dur)

Anyway, my problem is that every minute or so the sound stutters, all my drivers are updated, got all the windows update thrown in there, and it still does the stutter thing every minute or so. Is there any solution to this problem to save my sanity? Thanks : D

Hi TemperFire, welcome to the vista forums

No cure yet as far as I am Aware of...
Just the normal workaround

Right click the speaker icon in the tray select Playback Devices select your default output and on the enhancements tab Disable all enhancements.

Hopefully that should do the trick but if not try disabling all enhancements in the playback application (media player)

hope this helps

nither of your solutions worked... however... i did try playing a song in media player and the sound no longer stutters... its almost done the entire song and no stuttering so far anyway (always stuttered 2 to 3 times each song), so the player i was using before (winamp) was causing me problems... THANKS for the help though! Wouldnt of thought of using a another media player without ya XD
