stereo mix problem

I have a problem were I cant seem to get stereo mix I have tried everything but nothing works any help? here is the picture of my recording devices

Vista does not have a stereo mix (as far as I know). It uses a different sound processing structure to XP.

Not that I know of... Just looking a bit harder at the image you posted, you could set the 'Line In' to default as that should record in stereo. You will the need to plug what you want to record off into the 'Line In' port/

Beyond that I am not sure what you could do. :(
