Sound went away after webcam install?

after i download the driver and installed my logitech quickcam pro 4000 it prompt me to restart.... so i did....

the boot sound worked but when i went to play music there was nothing

have you tried setting your default sound device in windows, highlight your most likely sound device and hit set default.
to get there V simply right click your audio icon and click on playback devices.

i tried everything....

but i just downloaded REALTECH HD audio driver and have all my sound back.... its the driver that came with my mobo except up to date and for vista
