I resently dowloaded several windows updates as well as scanned my harddrive for errors all at once, then the next time I restart my computer, my sound is completely gone with a red x on the speaker in the system tray. If I look at audio in services It is not started and when I try it says "error 1079 the account specified for this service is different from the account spesified for other servies running in the same process.

Vista 32 bit
