| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Speakers not working Hi, I have dell Inspiron 1420 32bit vista home premium Operating System comptuer. Till today morning my internal speakers worked properly but they suddenly stopped working. I don't know what's the reason is.When i checked my sound bar it shows Digital Output Device(SPDIF) is connected.When i open the playback device screen it shows Speakers with red down arrow in it and displays not plugged in.But when i select it check its properties the status shows they are working properly.But my headphones are working properly.Please help me anyone to solve my problem.Thanks in advance.. |

| Xp-Vista-7 | Re: Speakers not working So, you have sound on your headphones but not your speakers. Is this correct? If that is correct then you may have a loose wire to speakers or a short (meaning somehow somwhere the wires are crossed). Or, you may have switched off your speakers via the sound Icon on the playback screen. |
