Hey guys. Does anyone know how to get this to work with auzentech x-fi forte so that I can unmute line in and run my 360 through my speakers? Thanks.

I have the same graphics card on my pc @ home, so it should work like this.
(depending on how you want to give your xbox audio)

You should first go into the creative management console and enable input from all Jacks, then you need to choose your audio with windows volume mixer
so choose your sound card to enable the inputs from your xbox. Then run it to your sound cards outputs (this should all be in properties of windows Volume mixer)

dude that made no sense at all. I know exactly how to fix it, trust me, there's no way to fix it through the control panel sound options or the auzentech console. This is an auzentech card btw, not a graphics card either, so it doesn't have the same creative console that i think you're talking about. I know that all i need to do is find and add the EnableMonitorInput registry entry, but i don't know where to find it with my praticular sound card, or how to find out where to find it with my sound card. That's the only way this will work. And here's the thing, I can't enable input from all jacks, such as line input, which is what i'm trying to do, when there's no option for it. That's why i have to edit the registry. It's a vista issue. XP doesn't have this problem apparently.
