| Vista | No Audio Output Device is installed This problem started when I accidently allowed a Vista update on my computer. I tried resetting the computer to an earlier date to get the sound back. Resetting the computer destroyed it. I took the computer in to get it reformatted, it works now, but still no audio. I tried updating the drivers, but the system says the drivers are up to date. I tried disabling the audio and rebooting the computer, still no audio. Computer is worthless to me without audio, half the reason I have it is for sound manipulation. Can anyone please help me? Do I have to buy a new sound card? New motherboard? What do I have to do to get sound capability back? |

If not let us know and I will research it for you. Ken |
